Strength from the Lord

This is another Dragon Ball inspired post. Lol. So, once again, it had to do with the main character Goku. And he had to fight this humongous dragon monster. The odds were really stacked against him here! But somehow, he won the fight because he scared the dragon with his strength. Who would ever think of a tiny little kid beating up a big and scary monster? When you look back at the story of David and Goliath, that situation wasn't in a cartoon, it was real life! That seems kinda weird that tiny little David killed big ol' Goliath with one small little pebble. But when you bring God into the situation, everything changes big time! He was blessed by the Lord and was given the strength and power to take down the huge leader of the Philistines. There's no telling what God can, and will do to you. He gives you strength when you're weak, light in the darkness, and love when you're not wanted. He is the ruler of all things, and it is an amazing fact that we can come to Him when we need anything. Kinda crazy, I know, but that's what God is all about. That is God's Mercy and Grace right there. So, to end today's post, I ask you to continue praising God in all you do, and to go to Him when you need help, because the Lord will guide you and help make your path straight.

Father, I thank you for your ever growing Mercy, Father. That you are fast to hold and slow to be angered. And for your divine grace, Lord God. How you bless us all with amazingly beautiful days, father. I pray for your protection around the nations, Lord. That you would keep those who are concerned in politics, the army, and those that are just engulfed with life, Lord. I pray for your blessing among us all. Pure at Heart and Separation from the Lord **UPDATED 7/13/10**

Hey, so last night, I was watching Dragon Ball with my cousin, and it came to the point where the main character, Goku, had to have a pure heart to ride the Flying Nimbus. Those of you reading this are probably wondering if I'm on crack or something. No, I'm not. So, Goku was the only person in the world who was able to fly on the nimbus cloud. And I got to thinking, 'I know he does a lot of good, but I mean, nobody can have that pure of a heart without coming to God for assistance." And although that is true, I reminded myself that it was only a cartoon...yeah, yeah, I know. -.- Anyways, try to think of the last time you asked God for redemption of all sin and a pure heart, if you even have that is. This is a big deal, because if we don't have a pure heart, then it tends to get harder for us to hear what God is trying to say to us. This has happened to me two or three times in my life. And trust me, it is anything BUT fun. You feel alone, not willing to do much, and you feel like there's nothing to live for. But the last time this happened to me, I still knew that God was there, and I was living for Him to spread His word to people among the nations. I felt really alone at the time, but since this had already happened to me, I knew that God was still there, even though it didn't feel like it. First of all, when this happens, you don't want to do anything but keep worshiping the Lord. It takes more than just a day to do this, so don't think that it'll happen over night. You need to pray about your current situation, that your relationship will grow stronger than ever, but first, you gotta put out the effort to want to know God more. You have to be passionate, and show your love for Him. Looking through the Bible couldn't hurt too. Proclaim your love for the God that gave you life and everything you have. Don't be afraid to show people your love for God, because He's not afraid to show His love for you. Pray for those that need God the most in your life, because without God they will suffer and spend eternity in hell. Praise God for all He has ever given you, and for all of the beauty He has surrounded you with. Nothing can be more beautiful, besides God, than His creations! I might add some side notes later on to this post, so keep checking this post to see them.

Father, I come to you and thank you for this beautiful day you have given us. I pray for the rest of the day, Lord, that you would bless it and give everybody a wonderful time. For those people who go to a youth group, Father, I pray they would want to show their love for you and want to learn more about you. I pray you would put your angels around my friends and family and everybody i've come to know. I think you for everything you have given me, Father. In your Son's precious and most Holy name, Amen.

Starting off my day

Hello everybody.Just waking up on a beautiful Saturday morning, none other than my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!!! Okay, so the way I start my day is I usually wake up, go to the bathroom, and walk back into my room to watch some TV or play Zelda. Although some of you may be thinking this is a good way to start off the day, that's where you're wrong. It is only a good way to start off the day through humanly eyes. And I know, I know, we're all human, but that's not what I'm talking about. When I say "humanly eyes", I mean how normal humans, not Christians, see and think things. That way of thinking is called "humanly morals", which means the way humans think without consulting, or even thinking of going to God first. How you should really start off your day is to wake up and pray. Pray for the day that lies ahead and for protection over others, that we all stay safe and are blessed with a wonderful day. I don't know about you, but that's definitely how I will start to lead my day off like this. A prayer unto the Lord is always a good one. :)

Exclusions

Hey guys. So lately, I've been noticing that my friends are hanging out a lot...but with other people. And I know, they're allowed to have lives without me too, but it kinda hurts when they don't invite me to do stuff. Especially when it's some of my best friends. It is those times that I ask God for advice. I usually explain to myself that they have their own lives, and I don't need to be apart of every waking moment of it when I have my own life to live. I ask the Lord to put me at peace with my emotions and my friends, because if I'm not at peace with them, then the conflict will continue to rise. And more conflict causes more zits, and nobody likes those...except weird people. Anyways, back to my God time. I ask the Lord, or I should start asking the Lord during these situations, to forgive me for being elfish and only thinking of what I want. Because even though it is your life to live, doesn't mean that I should always bethinking about myself and not other. What I should be doing is not worrying about what my friends are doing and just give the situation to God. Now some of you may be asking, 'Why should I give it to God? It's not that big of a situation.' On the contrary, all situations matter to the Lord. You should start to just let God take His way of letting things happen and not to worry about what will be. In the Bible, it says not to worry about tomorrow when you have the day at hand to worry about with it's own troubles. This is very true at times like this. Don't be so anxious about what will happen tomorrow when you've got today and it's matters on your plate. And speaking of plates, have your parents ever told you at an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, 'Now don't let your eyes get bigger than your stomach!' This is kinda what I'm talking about. After thinking about what will happen after several day, you're worrying about too much and you start to get really stressed out. Don't worry, because the Lord will make all things well for you. He never gives you more than you can handle.

Father, I come to you now and thank you for the marvelous day you have bestowed upon us. I pray that you would bless those who worry too much and put their heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit at rest Father God. Lift them up and reassure them that everything will be okay, no matter what kind of situation they shall be in. Bless us all throughout the night, Lord, and give us all sweet and blessed dreams of being with you Lord. In your Son's precious, and most Holy name, Amen.
